YTD West Nile activity report

Click here to view the 2009 activity report. Data in the report includes numbers for humans, equines, dead bird collections, sentinel chickens and submitted mosquito collections.

2009 Town Fogging program ends

The Sutter-Yuba Mosquito & Vector Control District reports that mosquito populations have dropped sufficiently to stop the town spraying program for the 2009 season. Watch for news about the town spraying program in the late spring of 2010.

2009 Agricultural spraying comes to a halt

Agricultural spray programs for 2009 have ended. Use of aircraft and ground based foggers will be limited to localized mosquito outbreaks. Regular routes have ended.

Mosquitofish

Mosquitofish are no longer available as of October 1st. Come back April 1st to stock your mosquito producing source.
